Why is it so important for Alicia to reveal undiscovered talent to executives? Because she has been in the same position for years until she revealed her talent in Los Angeles, California at the World Championships of Performing Arts, where she competed against over 40 countries to bring home the gold medal in her division. A gold medalist from this prestigious event was a major accomplishment for her.

After performing for years in local talent shows, singing in the church choir and local Broadway musicals, all the sweat and tears was rewarded at the National level. She won the hearts of many as she gave renditions of the soulful Chaka Khan’s “Sweet Thing”, sultry sounds of Billy Holiday, and the selection that brought home the gold, a rendition of the incomparable Whitney Houston’s “Greatest Love of All.” Alicia vowed to ensure that she’d give a paramount effort to set Upstate New York on the map as a hub for hidden talents to be discovered!

It’s not always just business for Alicia, even though many would beg to differ. Although she dedicates an enormous amount of time to her work, nothing comes before her family. Married at the age of 18, Alicia’s journey as a wife began earlier than most. A mother by the age of 22, she has 4 children, Erica, Chanel, Rochelle, and Thomas II. Her undying love and devotion echoes “I’ll give my all for God and my children! NOTHING comes before them!” When her marriage went into turmoil and ended in divorce, she dedicated her life to be and do more than expected. “My actions will speak for me more than my words.”, she proclaims as clear as the sky is blue. She attributes her strength and perseverance to her faith in God.

Sharing not only her talents and special projects, Alicia works to link the different partnerships she’s affiliated with to local community businesses to assist in promoting cultural awareness, diversity, and career exploration. Driven and determined, she is a person who rolls her sleeves up with you and is not afraid of hard work. She welcomes the challenge knowing that what doesn’t break you can only make you stronger.

She speaks candidly when she says, “Working and volunteering with professionals that I’ve garnered relationships with to support their vision and learn the entertainment business is something I deem as an honor, not a chore or imposition. I’ve developed a great respect for those behind the scenes that bring the art of entertainment to the world.”
